May 21st, 2011 "Judgment Day" - North Beach, Sandy Hook, NJ
Got to the beach at 9am with a dozen Clams, pint of Killies, Squid and 14 beers.
Merk: 2 Flukes (14" and 12").
Carl: 2 Flukes (18" and 10"), 1 Sea Robin, and 2 mating Horseshoe Crabs.
Nice day but slow fishing. Lots of fisherman on the beach. Saw only one other guy reel in a fish, a nice Striper (keeper). Pictures above are of the 14" and 10" Fluke.
Left the beach at 4pm with 1 Fluke, 1 Sea Robin and lots of left over bait.
